About the car

100% Electric Nissan Leaf.. This car has no gas engine, no tail pipe.... it is a zero emission vehicle.
Non Smoking in car.

I have gone 130 miles on one charge, but the practical range per charge for a new driver is about 90 miles. Outside temperature does affect this range.... the colder it is outside the lower the range. In city stop and go traffic range is increased due to the near constant regeneration provided by re-gen brakes.

Where to charge? There are now more EV charge stations than gas stations. and have many that are free. is a pay as you go system...
The fastest recharge takes about 20 min on level 3. Thise “super chargers”, as some call them, are still very rare. Nissan is rolling out many of these at their dealerships... they are free for now but it makes sense that you may have to pay for this service..

Level 2 is next in line almost always free takes a solid 2 hours + for this so plan your trip accordingly.
If you have any questions give me a call....

LEAF = Leading, Environmentally friendly, Affordable, Family car
Level 1 Charge = 110 - 120 volt AC house current charge - takes the longest
Level 2 Charge = 220 - 240 volt AC - home dryer circuit, car dealerships, some gas stations, public rest areas.
Level 3 Charge = 400 - 440 volt DC - CHAdeMO is an abbreviation of "CHArge de MOve", equivalent to "charge for moving". The name is a pun for O cha demo ikaga desuka in Japanese,[1] translating to English as "How about some tea?", referring to the time it would take to charge a car.[2] CHAdeMO can charge low-range electric cars in less than half an hour.

The number of CHAdeMO DC Quick chargers installed up to today is 3688.
