So instead of picking the car up at my location, I will deliver it to you. What does this mean? It means much more convenience for you. There is a charge for this service, of course, but it's worth skipping the headache of traveling to the pickup location. Dropping me off back at my location is not required, however if you're able to drop me off, I will refund you half of the delivery charge (Venmo or PayPal) once I receive payment from Turo. 🙂*** Do you need a fuel efficient, environmentally friendly hybrid, with plenty of leg space and trunk space, that's compact and easy to park? You've come to the right place! This Toyota Prius has 2 driving modes: "D" for Drive and "B" for Battery. "D" mode is more fuel efficient (up to 49 mpg on the freeway), and it gives the car more power and smoother, more traditional braking. "B" Mode is designed for "regenerative braking". It is primarily designed for going downhill, although at times I use it on flat roads or roads with smaller declines. This mode is more friendly to the battery because it utilizes the energy stored from the braking process. The car slows down quicker in this mode when you take your foot off of the accelerator due to the regenerative braking process. I'm 6'3 and I can drive the car very comfortably. With the driver's seat pushed all the way back, there's still surprisingly ample leg room for me in the back seat. There's lots of trunk space for luggage, groceries, boxes, etc. The back seats fold down for even MORE room (Surfboard...Surfboard) Although there is plenty of trunk space, leg room, and head room, this Prius is still small enough to park very easily. The rear view backup camera makes reversing and parallel parking simple and safe.
